FASY- BAND HISTORY
The Band was formed in July 2005 in Malaysia. Faseeh, the key person in the band performed as a guitar player starting from his school way back in the 80's. Since then he performed in many bands in the Maldives experimenting with many styles of music. In 1996 he moved to Malaysia to further his Studies and while he was there he has performed with many Malaysian Artists both Live and in the Studio. Finally the time came when he wanted to put his own lineup together.
His First Lineup included a Maldivian Bassist (RIFU) and an Indonesian Drummer (DISTA). The line up regularly performed Rock, Metal and Blues music in a few Clubs in Malaysia. There were a few changes in the line up and finally now, he's got Ali Nazeer(AYYA) on Bass Guitar and Ibrahim Samih(IBRAHIM) on Drums.
Ali Nazeer had been the Bassist for a popular Metal band in the Maldives and met Fasee in Malaysia when he was pursuing Higher education. Ibrahim Samih was introduced to Fasee by Ali Nazeer they were both in the same Metal band.
The line up did their first performance in July 2005 in a well known Pub in Malaysia followed by many other performances in many popular avenues which included, Shopping Malls, Record Outlets, Major clubs and many Music Festivals.

Coming from a musical family Fasee picked his first guitar at the tender age of four. His musical career began to take shape after winning a number of awards for his guitar and vocal performances throughout his school days. By the time he left school he had focused interest in playing Heavy Metal.
Fasee is responsible for introducing Rock and Heavy Metal to the youth of the country. He organized the " Painted Sound Illusion " the First Rock Concert organised in the Maldives for Rock Bands performing Original songs. He became the Role Model for the youth of the Maldives.
Since he moved to Malaysia to attain his Degree in Bsc in Computing and Information Systems he widened his musical interests. By this time he was experimenting with guitar,drums,bass and synthesizer. Faseeh was a sessionist and the co-producer of the Theme Song for the World Youth Conference for 2 consecutive years 1999 and 2000. He set up his own Record Label " DigitalTones " and worked as a Producer. But his passion to play in his own band overtook all other activies. He has since then released 3 successful Solo Albums. This was the reason he scouted for a drummer and a bassist to make his dream a Reality. BAND FASY came into being after a lot of trial and tribulations.
EMERGENZA so far has been Fasee's biggest achievement.

Ali Nazeer( Ayya ) found his passion for music at the age of 13 when he experimented with a guitar but soon found out that a bass guitar was for him. During all this time his focus was mainly to complete his studies. Ayya and 3 other friends got together to form a band which later became known as LEVIATHAN. They had 2 major performances in the Maldives.
Once again Ayya's academic interests took him to Malaysia to start a Degree program in Graphic Design and Multimedia. It was in Malaysia where he met Fasee and his music career took precedence. A number of Gigs were played in Malaysia before the band FASY was formed with Ayya as Bassist.
EMERGENZA ( World's Largest unsigned Band Event ) si so far Ayya's biggest International performance and biggest achievement to date. His Aim is to become a Great Bass Player that would take to crowds around the World.

Aged 27 Ibrahim Samih( ibbe ) started his music career at the age of 12 while still in school.Having played drums for most of the Prime bands in the Maldives. Ibbe has also had the vast experience of touring several countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.
His International Tours have taken him to India, Sri lanka, Italy, South Africa, Malaysia and Germany. Ibbe lined up with Fasee in August 2005, having joined up with band FASY, their inspirations for International acclaim were further fuelled by their success in Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
Ibbe's skills shined at the EMERGENZA Festival in February 2006 taking the Band to the Semi Finals.
