Hello, Welcome to SPARTAN FOOTBALL CLUB KAMPUNG PANDAN MALAYSIA!! SPARTAN FC was formed to realise the dreams of a groups of young kids who live in and around the village of Kampung Pandan in one of the surburbs of Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, within sight of one of the wonders of the modern world " The Petronas Twin Towers". The children from this area did not belong to, could not afford to, were not good enough to join any football club due to various reasons. They wanted to get training, play football matches and enter competitions, however there was no opportunity for them. Deathstar Productions together with other individuals in Kampung Pandan then decided to step in and help these boys realise their dreams. In August 2009 we organised a football match with another football team called FALCON FC, it turns out the young lads from Kampung Pandan had a lot of potential. We then organised training sessions for them every Sunday, we provided all the training equipment and football shirts and boots as some of the lads use to play shoeless and we have now progressed to having a Home and Away football kit. It is amazing what the children can acheive if they are given the tools they need. In 5 short months the children have become a discipline team, made new friends and have now built confidence in themselves and confidence in their own ability. We are going to keep developing that confidence by expanding the childrens football and their knowledge by arranging more football matches outside Kuala Lumpur and will have games against teams in other states in Malaysia. We will also be playing against Expat Teams so the children can meet other children from different cultures and countries enabling them to make new friends. If possible we will be entering tournaments in neighbouring countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore, its going to be an exciting and positive future for the children. Whether the children win or lose, they will win by gaining confidence in their own abilities and make new friends and have fun doing it. Deathstar Productions will sponsor the teams for this year and hopefully other Indivuduals and Companies will help and Sponsor the growth of SPARTAN FC.
